Spain is BACK ON!!!!

Dear friends,

So, last month I had a a big thing happen and unfortunately my trip to Spain was cancelled. I was absolutely devestated about it. Going to Spain is my dream and having that taken away from my was just awful.

But, a couple of days ago I recieved an email offering me a new place in the Spanish Language Assistant Program from January as a late applicant. I absolutely jumped at the chance to go again. So from January until July 2011 I will be in Spain! I am so excited at being given a second chance to go!

Also, this placement is in a different location. So instead of going to Castilla la Mancha and living in a very small town, I will actually now be living in Madrid! This is so exciting, as its where I wanted to go originally.

So Spain is oficially BACK ON AGAIN!!!!

All I have to do now is wait for my new appointment letter to let me know which school I will be teaching at, and apply (again) for a new visa.

On another exciting note, in December I will be heading to Tokyo like I was originally supposed to, but this time my fantastic friend Amanda will accompany me. Thanks to a Jetstar sale, we got reasonably priced tickets. Its going to be lovely to go to Japan with a friend! And then I will be staying with my family in Saitama for Christmas and heading to Madrid either before or after new years.

I am also SO VERY EXCITED that I will finally ( and I really mean FINALLY) meet two gorgeous friends of mine, Kym and Gwenny! Its truly been years in the making! So I will be heading to London to meet Kym and somewhere else or maybe also London to meet Gwenny. I am so unbelievebly excited!!!!

Also I get to have belated Christmas with Paul. Wheeeee!
